Can any of you guys make me the best gaming computer I could get for 1500$-2000$ U.S.

From spare parts **please give the name/brand etc...**
(Not including the tower,videocard,progams(i.e WindowsXP or C.D/DVD)

It would really be appreciated!

Anandtech has a good article about creating a mid-range system, which is what near your budget. My personal preference is lean towards the Amd system, but this is my preference. Both system come about $1500 and do gaming well.

Use the rest of your money to get a nice moniter, but 1500-2000$ is unneccesary for a gaming computer.

I don't know much about computers but my Celeron sucks and seriously slows down a month or so after completely re-formating no matter how careful I am with it.

I've debuged it, spyware'd it but it jsut plane sucks
